Culinary workshop „Roman taste“ – Restaurant Gašpić, Solin

The goal of this gastronomic workshop is to take you through the time of Empress Plautilla, preparing a steak that bears her name and which is enriched with the spices of that time. Our host, Zoran Kljaković Gašpić, will show you step by step how we will prepare the Empress Plautilla steak, which we serve with chard and herbs, and whose taste takes us back to the times of the old Salona. Interpretive walk “Walk with Frane Bulić” – archaeological site Salona

Don Frane Bulić, a priest and archaeologist, long-time director of the Archaeological Museum in Split and the father of Croatian archeology, will take us through the archeological site of Salona, ​​the largest archeological park in Croatia and according to legend the birthplace of Emperor Diocletian. It is through his story that you will learn interesting facts about the early Christian cemetery of Manastirine, the Tusculum Museum , Episcopal Center, and the Amphitheater. Archaeological workshop

We will hear who archaeologists are, what their role is and what tools they use from the story of archaeologist Ema Višić Ljubić, senior curator of the Archaeological Museum in Split, through this workshop that aims to educate our youngest about this valuable profession in the ancient Salona.
